Egress is departure as instinct, not as aspiration.
It is neither escape nor flight. It is a primordial withdrawal that separates the self from social gravity, meaning law, relationships, belonging, memory, and recognition, in order to make existence autonomous again. It is also an attitude and practice that reduces this "blue dot" from an absolute center into a single coordinate.
Its purpose lies in the transition from a social organism into a cosmic being.
This does not necessarily mean vanishing into interstellar space. Whether one settles on Earth or another celestial body, periodically approaches and then moves away from the social sphere, or moves away in a fully irreversible manner, the core is not a specific place. The core is to live as a being that is complete in itself, without subordinating oneself to social order or the recognition of others.
In other words, Egress is not merely observing the universe. It is becoming part of the universe. It is a mode of existence that seeks to become an emotionally luminous star, reduced to a "thinking elementary particle" yet not extinguished.
Egress does not necessarily mean complete severance. Some may remain on the ground while minimizing their relationship with the outside world. Some may return periodically like comets, yet never belong again. Some may live like Voyager, removing the very possibility of return from the conditions of life.
In this way, Egress can be realized through different modes: Anchor-type, Comet-type, and Voyager-type. In all cases, however, its essence lies in a life of non-belonging, free from return, reporting, evaluation, and approval. It aims for a zero-gravity state of memory, where memory exists but does not bind. Existence is no longer held by a social center.
Its ethics is mutual non-interference. This is not insulation or hostility, but the principle of independence, in which one does not recklessly invade another's probability space. Egress is not an impulse to dominate others or be saved by others. It is a form of freedom that withdraws from observability and social summonability.
In this sense, the Voyager-type is not the only form of Egress, but it can be understood as the most theoretically ideal form.
This is because it realizes departure from social gravity in the most complete and irreversible way. However, the Anchor-type and the Comet-type also belong to Egress if their essence lies in non-belonging and autonomy. This is not a matter of stages or ranks, but the result of the same principle being realized through different orbits.
